Just because Halloween has passed for the year doesn’t mean that you can’t decorate your home with pumpkins. This little craft is a great idea for the fall season and look FABULOUS in your house. Today we are getting creative with Easy Fall Pumpkin Crafts.
Before painting, make sure to wash the pumpkins in lukewarm water and add a couple tablespoons of bleach in the sink. This will help get off any dirt and allow for the paint to adhere. Before you paint make sure the pumpkin is completely dry. After that, grab your craft paint and start painting! I choose Martha Stewart’s Craft paint in SMOKE, but you can grab any color you desire. I painted the top first and left the stem bare for the sparkles.
After you paint as much of the pumpkin as you can. Plug in your blow-dryer and start drying the paint so you can add the 2-3 coats you need to make a solid color. When you do this, make sure you have cold air blowing on your pumpkin. We’re not trying to make pumpkin pie.
