Skincare| 3 steps to clear skin this fall

As of lately, I found myself struggling with cystic acne around my cheeks and frustrated with a clogged T-zone. If you don’t have good skin chances are you’re stressed about it or have been at one time or another.

The skin on your face says many things about how you take care of yourself. Do you have a healthy diet? Do you get enough sleep? Do you exercise/sweat enough? Are you stressed? Is your cell phone dirty? Do you clean your makeup brushes enough? Do you have a hormonal imbalance?

STEP 1: Cleanse- Clarisonic Deep Pore Daily Cleanser, $30

This cleanser from Clarisonic  goes a long way. You can also use it in conjunction with a Clarisonic brush or on its own. (This is essential to remove bacteria from the skin and any leftover makeup.)

STEP 2: Exfoliate- Farmhouse Fresh One Fine Day Flawless Face Polish, $25

I just tried this exfoliant, and it is UUUHHMAZING. It almost cleared out all the blackheads on my nose and made my skin feel youthful. (This is important so that any dead skin cells that may be lingering are removed. Exfoliating also helps with the appearance of an overall even complexion.)

STEP 3: Moisturize- Sisley Paris Restorative Facial Cream, $255

  • FACE- Sisley Paris produces this unreal face cream that I call Botox in a bottle. It moisturizes your skin with a mild floral scent while tightening just enough to notice. (Moisturizing is important to add nutrients back to the skin that have been lost throughout the day.)
  • EYES- GM Collins Eye Contour Corrector,$31 . Depending on genetics, its important to incorporate an eye serum or lotion once you hit about 22. To give it some perspective, your face is as thick as the white part of an egg while your eye skin is as thick as the egg shell.  (The skin around your eyes does not produce natural oils so its important to add nutrients back to the area to prevent early ageing.)
